Dog Paws University Presents:
Group Obedience Classes with Rudy’s Friends Dog Training
All obedience classes use positive/motivational methods to encourage good behavior and to accelerate the acquisition of formal obedience commands. Each seven week course costs $180. Our next classes begin Sunday, September 28th so sign up today!
Fall Schedule:
Basic Obedience – Sunday, 1pm
This seven week course covers the basic commands that every pooch should know: Sit, down, stay, and heel. Topics such as informal loose leash walking, jumping up and barking are also covered. This course is a must for dog and owners without previous training experience who want a more attentive, more obedient dog. In this course, your dog will learn that following commands is fun!
Advanced Obedience – Sunday, 2pm
This seven week course will review the commands covered in Basic Obedience and will challenge your dogs’ mastery of these commands under different distractions and at greater distances. You will learn how to take commands on the road and achieve a higher level of obedience with your dog in new environments (like the dog park or at doggie happy hour).
Puppy Kindergarten(tentative) – Sunday, 3pm
This course will only be offered if we can secure at least 8 puppies (under 9 months old) sign up!!! Puppy Kindergarten includes the same material as Basic Obedience at “puppy speed.” Essential puppy information on house-training and crate-training. Puppy Kindergarten classes will end with 30 minutes of off-leash play/socialization in a “puppies only” doggie daycare zone.
